ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Throwing Wrenches is the freshman effort from The Wilson Arms--Rob Avsharian and Blues Traveler keyboardist Ben Wilson's ensemble of bad mofos!! Years in the making, the music draws on a lifetime of immersion in pop and soulful, funky rock and blues. Elton John, Ray Charles, Dr John, Motown, The Beatles and Stones are among the many influences coming together here. Great playing coupled with well thought out arrangements make up this traditionally structured collection. Lyrics are heartfelt and personal. Listeners will find something unexpected and creative in each song.
