Album Notes
Apart from a few guest soloists, Winston plays all of the instruments and sings all of the vocal parts himself. Most of the songs can be best described as coming from the rock end of the Adult Contemporary spectrum - "Cinderella at 12:01," "What's It Gonna Take?" "Good Love Gone Bad," "Passion," "Paradise Hotel," "Damsels in Distress," and "The Last of the Red-hot Mommas." Crosby, Stills and Nash fans will enjoy the folk-rock harmonies on "I Can Only Hold On for So Long." "Looking for Someone" is as close to straight country as Winston is likely to get. "Love" and "Virginia" are ballads. The one song that involves a fully collaborative effort is "Trying to Find My Way." It was co-written by Mark Thies, who also mixed and mastered the CD. Mark wrote the music, contemporary R & B, and plays all of the instruments. Winston wrote the lyrics and sings.

What a delightfully engaging CD. The vocals are strong and the tunes are catchy.
