ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Relive 25 Glorious Moments from UNC Football & Basketball History! For the first time, on one CD, a special collection of Carolina sports magic.

For 40 years, UNC football and basketball games included play-by-play by broadcaster Woody Durham, the "Voice of the Tar Heels." Woody was behind the microphone for more than 1,800 games, including: 13 Final Fours, 4 NCAA National Basketball Championships, and 23 Bowl Games.

On this CD, Woody takes you back to the moment when...
-Roy Wiliams' teams stop two Big Ten rivals for National Championships
-UNC scores an incredible 8 points in 17 seconds to beat Duke
-Kelvin Bryant racks up an amazing six TDs against ECU
-Charlie "Choo Choo" Justice dismantles #1 ranked Texas

All proceeds benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill.

About Woody Durham:
Woody was named North Carolina Sportscaster of the Year 13 times, and was inducted into the NC Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2004 and the NC Sports Hall of Fame in 2005.

UNC has recognized Woody's contributions with a General Alumni Association Distinguished Service Medal, a "Carolina Priceless Gem" designation from the Athletic Department, and the Board of Trustees' "Davie Award." After retiring in 2011, he received the Chris Schenkel Award from the National Football Association. In 2012, Woody was presented with the Order of the Long Leaf Pine in honor of his exceptional service to the State of North Carolina.

About the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill:
Woody Remembers was conceived by Woody and Jean Durham as a way to directly support the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill. Woody and Jean have been guiding forces on behalf of the House since its inception in 1986. As co-chair of the Carolina Kids Classic Golf Tournament for 22 years, Woody raised $3+ million in support of seriously ill children and their families. The Durham's outstanding commitment and generosity will help to sustain the "House with a heart" for many years to come.

The Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill is a home-away-from-home for families of seriously ill or injured children receiving treatment at area hospitals. The House provides more than a place to sleep - it's a lifeline of hope to families in crisis - providing close access to health care, nourishment, emotional support, and financial relief.
