About
WELCOME TO A WORLD WHERE MUSIC FALLS INTO THE WRONG HANDS... AND ITS OH-SO-GOOD. Over experimental beats and with distinctive lyricism, The Wrong Hands explores a different world of hip hop, where emcees party in space for spring break and ex-girlfriends are venomous monsters. From Nero Caesar’s background in everything from heavy metal to trip hop surges his unique approach to beat composition, while Hopie Spitshard’s distinctive lyrics showcase her experience in so very many muscial projects. There’s something obviously special about The Wrong Hands’ music. It's mischievous, inventive, and mad different... and you know you’ve caught yourself thinking you are tired of the same old rap music- the kind that lacks innovation with played out lyrics about degrading women and enforcing racial and gender stereotypes. Well, The Wrong Hands can get you back to where you need to be: excited about hip hop, where hip hop becomes fun again... but it will still probably get you fired if you put it on at work- believe me, it's no hand holding R&B bullshit either.

Catch The Wrong Hands in San Francisco and the greater Bay Area, often with the Souled Out Radio record label. Nero’s production is featured on Jon?Doe’s “Everybody's favorite rapper" and a plethora of upcoming projects. Hopie can be heard on Smigg Dirtee's "Dirtee Boy & Co.," EyeASage's "Married to the Hustle" mixtape, & GuWhok J's "Language Arts." You can catch The Wrong Hands' cameo in Bambu's "Pull It Back" and Topkat's "Let Me Tell You Something" videos. The Wrong Hands’ first album “We All Fall,” is out and available for purchase here on cd baby or message us on myspace(or catch us live).

You got schooled by the team, now meet the players.

Nero Caesar is the (evil?) mastermind behind the Wrong Hands. Lyricist, producer and graphic designer extraordinaire. Nero Caesar had been nurturing an impressive list of musical projects in his native San Luis Obispo, CA. Now, in the diverse cultural cesspool that is San Francisco, he joins forces with Hopie Spitshard to form the Wrong Hands. Disclaimer: Nero is a tall, tatted up, white guy.

Hopie Spitshard, formerly Kae Hope, is the Wrong Hands' very own pint-sized powerhouse lyricist. With her own string of eclectic musical endeavors under her featherweight belt, one can tell San Francisco raised her right. Watch out for The Wrong Hands album "We All Fall" and upcoming shows to rock that world. Hint: She talks a lot of shit, but don't be scurred- she's gotten her shots...I think..

Hop aboard the magical mystery bus of wrongness!
Listening to The Wrong Hands, We All Fall album is like taking a bunch of hallucinogenics in SF's Golden Gate park, climbing into a cartoon bus and taking a tour of the fog city with all it's political commentary, crack heads, hyphy lovers and underground hip hop conusors. The Wrong Hands have an innovative way of mixing both hard, very danceable, "club" style beats with some good ole lyricism with metaphors, stories, shit that makes you think and a lot of sarcastic humor that makes you wonder if these kids are just witty or a bunch of drugged out punks from a lost episode of the Gorillaz cartoons. Big Ups Wrong Hands!
