Hang-N-Rattle

This creative and collaborative effort, with great American poet Paul Zarzyski contributing to the lyrics, kicks it up a few notches in the world of Western music. It is fuel for a new generation of hope: some love, some dance, some blues.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Hang ‘n’ Rattle Liner Notes

The times they are a changin’. So is western music. Good art is born of a truthful heart. To deny the musical influences of my past would be dishonest. I grew up in an era of some of the greatest rock ‘n roll, country, blues, and folk music ever written. It was the words and melodies of those powerful songs that reached outward on the airwaves and into to the sponge of my youth. I remember happily singing “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction…” as we drove 500 head of fresh mother cows through a spring snowstorm. The rollicking rhythms resonated above the remote plains of my northern Montana home with a timeless cadence that still echoes loudly. Life has a surprising way of coming full circle. So once again, it’s time to let it hang and rattle! Hope ya like the new songs.
