Album Notes
The Yankee Rebels is an award winning bluegrass that has been together for 40 years. Their songs cover both traditional and contemporary bluegrass as well as original material. The 3 original members of the band are Dr. David Bressler on mandolin, Les Bayer on banjo and Art Dekhayser on guitar. The newest members are Mark Farrell on fiddle and Allen Cohen on bass.
The band has appeared on shows and festivals with some of the biggest names in bluegrass, has appeared in a feature length movie about bluegrass, was featured in 2 magazines in Japan, and has won 6 bluegrass band contests in New York.
