Yemi Marie… A Vocalist Extraordinaire!
A Chicago native, Yemi Marie debuted her vocal gift at a grammar school talent show where she sang “A Song for Mama” by the renowned “Boys II Men”. Needless to say her teachers and fellow students were amazed with her performance. This was only the beginning for Yemi Marie as she went on to showcase her talents before crowds both small and great. In 2012, Yemi Marie was named one of the Top Talent, by Talent Shines International Talent Convention, which was broadcast live around the globe from Walt Disney. She was given top scores out of thousands of contestants.
Yemi Marie’s talents extend far beyond her vocals; she is nothing short of a true entertainer. She is trained in several forms of dance; Hawaiian, African, Modern, Hip-Hop and tap. Yemi Marie is proving to be truly incomparable. Although she has been inspired by the likes of Jennifer Hudson, Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, Beyonce and the late great Whitney Houston her style is unparalleled. She thrives on remaining unique and owns her style. She aims to inspire others through her love of song and dance.
Yemi Marie’s current musical producers, mentors and influences have worked with many of today’s marquee talents such as Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Joss Stone, LL Cool J, Deborah Cox, Craig David, Jo Dee Messina, and countless others. With the approval and support of these influences she continues to remain humble and focused on enhancing her musical abilities and growth as an artist, vocalist and entertainer. At the age of fifteen this is merely the beginning for such an extraordinarily gifted young lady.
