Te Llego

by Yoel Diaz

This is Cuban music played by Cubanos & sounds like a well deserved vacation in paradise. Put on some strong sunscreen & pour a refreshing rum beverage, because you're about to feel the heat. Cuban jazz, timba, funk & even a little bit of rap. La lucha.
Genre: Latin: Salsa

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Yoel Diaz grew up on the tough streets of Holguin in eastern Cuba. He was selected to become a soccer player, but, when he made a instrument out of old rum bottles and played it with sticks, his father saw that Yoel's true path should be music. So, at seven years old, Yoel was accepted into music school and spent the next ten years playing percussion. Upon graduation, at age seventeen, Yoel had decided that he wanted to play piano and compose. The many melodies that he heard and felt growing inside his head, had to find a way out, but, his official education had come to an end, so, he had to teach himself.
To hear Yoel play now, it's hard to believe that anyone could become so good so soon. When he plays, you can feel the fire burning in his soul. His heart was born to beat strong and hard, with the passion and drive to make the world get up and dance! Listen- you will then know what this attempt at words can never describe. This is what you've been waiting for. Finally, it's here. Te llego.
