ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
4 Kinfolk Records proudly presents the single "I'll Be There" by Yolanda Westinghouse.

Yolanda is a singer/songwriter, producer, composer and vocal coach from Richmond, Virginia.
Her style can be compared to renowned artists such as Tramaine Hawkins, Karen Clark-Sheard, Yolanda Adams, and Sandi Patty.

She began singing at the age of three in her church's children's choir. She was a music major at Virginia State University and has since continued to nurture her gift by singing and performing in many venues throughout the state.

Yolanda is a powerful, sultry, and soulful singer. She is noted for her operatic, jazzy, hip hop flavored style of inspirational songs. She attributes this to an unconditional relationship with our Savior.

In 1999, she launched her first cd "Joy", which was followed by "R U Down" (both on ScottyBoy Productions). "Joy" received airplay on Radio One stations (Winston Chaney Show). Yolanda was a featured artist at the 12th Annual Stone Soul Picnic held at the RFK Stadium in Washington, DC that over 100,000 people attended. She was given the opportunity to sing on Jeff Majors' Christmas single "You Don't Have To Cry This Christmas" and performed a duet with the late Fitzgerald Scott on his single "Destiny" (EMI). She also sang on Bill McGee's jazz version of "I Believe I Can Fly".

Yolanda's greatest endeavor in life is to share her love for our Lord Jesus Christ through her music and to proclaim His goodness throughout the world. If you ever have the opportunity to hear this Songbird sing, she will leave the footprint of Jesus on your heart. Always Be Blessed.
