Album Notes
Listen with your eyes closed. Herein lies the essence of a fleeting feeling, an elusive after image, the vague impression of something lost. A splendid place: the opulent innermost chambers where soul mates might share their darkest secrets without prejudice. Music echoes through the ruins of the 20th century. It guides you somewhere impossibly vast; the lush fields of discontent where only the introspective may pass. This is where imagination begets substance; this is home.

Electronic, organic... the beatbox has a soul. You Shriek elegantly defies classification creating a unique sound on the threshold of a new genre.

This is the first of the band's full-length albums. Limited quantities available, get one while you still can.

the SSL is a big console. it takes big disks to store the automation. the Studer is a big tape machine. it takes big tapes to record the music. old ADATs don't come up to speed with any degree of elegance, a property that is compounded with the use of multiple units. the days of linear recording are in the past, i don't think they'll ever return. the details of tracking this album have been removed from history for the protection of those involved. techniques were developed while mixing to turn X-hour long sessions into X-days, and for changing Prepared Effects Patches into long nights of running cables and programming Eventides and Lexicons to do the same thing... but with High Perceived Tone Quality.
