Edo Castro

"A Life" is about songs. Well crafted songs.
"Yves intrinsic ability to write beautiful music is uncanny.
And it's this skill I respect most about Yves.
But one cannot ignore the ferocity of his bass skills.
Yet for all his technical expertise, you don't hear "it" get in the way like so many other "solo" bass albums that reduces musicality into
a torrent of notes that go nowhere.
"A Life" is about songs. Well crafted songs. And that above all else are the makings of a great album."
