Album Notes
Zach Ummer's first release, despite being limited to a short 5 tracks, is the result of the most distant influences coming together in a style that just seems to work. Each track offers a slightly different glimpse of the unique talents that this artist and his band have to offer.

Ummer's lyrics are catchy and relatable to just about anyone, encouraging audiences to sing right along. The smooth feel of the vocals is easy to like and hard to forget. Behind the frontman lies a collage of sounds coming from a wide range of instruments. Acoustic guitars and piano accompany the vocals throughout the course of the album, supplemented by Kyle Pudenz's violin and mandolin- which give the songs a feel that is classically refined but has the edge of modern folk, as well as electric guitars and synths that open the dynamic range to its fullest potential. Tying this vast array of colors and textures together is Kayleigh Moyer on drums and percussion. The drum grooves work to drive the rhythm section, but also continually compliment the melodies and licks found in the other instruments, elegently fusing these sounds into a solid unit that showcases complexity, yet harmony. Each band member adds a piece to the puzzle, and when brought together, the result is something even more powerful.

Though eclectic in nature, Zach Ummer brings a sound to the music world that can be appreciated by just about anyone! Enjoy
