Album Notes
last year tarik & julia banzi played at my workshop
noured din was with them
for me it was like coming home
since i was used to hear the sound of ud
and those andalusi and alfonso chants
were so familiar to me
so i enjoyed it so much
and what a lovely people they are

so they asked to play and sing along

zampogna had a music theatre play called
al andalus
and was on a flemish belgian television documentary
with that same name as a title
our play originally was called
'fantasia or flee into reality'

tarik asked me if we would do something together
i strongly wish this will come true one day

there's one name missing on the cd booklet:
momo cohen who died three years ago
what a great guy he was

i hope you will enjoy the music
it is coming direct from the hearts of all
who cooperated
let it go straight to your heart
