I'm the Asshole

by Zebrana Bastard

I call it Eclectic Blues. It's all based on truth as I perceive it and my life as I've lived it, a window into my life delivered through an acoustic bass named Sam, and a weird string of chords known as my voice.
Genre: Blues: Acoustic Blues

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
It's the breaking of my heart and the little triumphs you obtain when you smash through walls. Life is pain, it's suffering, but it's also beautiful often because of it. There's a certain honesty about myself that I've never been able to avoid, and it pours through my music...all these little pieces coming together, and this is what they create. Music is my outlet, and my albums are just as raw and honest as I am in my life, perhaps even a bit more so.

Mostly, I play alone with an acoustic bass I've lovingly named Sam. She is a part of me, maybe even the whole of me as she helps me to spill my guts to the world. I just don't have the patience to stay home all the time and wait for others to catch up, so I wanted an album that reflected what you can expect from a live show. I believe this album has achieved that goal.
