ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Nominated by Europe's "Bands of Dixie" for Group of the Year in 2007 along with Marshall Tucker, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers, and Molly Hatchet.

Media all over the world have embraced and recommended ZEDHEAD, on the strength of their debut cd "Mortal Man".

ZED HEAD is an amazing classic rock/Texas boogie outfit in the style of the greats of old. They are often described by reviewers as "Stevie Ray crossed with ZZ Top," or "Johnny Winter meets Lynyrd Skynyrd."
Pundits from around the world agree that ZED HEAD have hit a home run with their approach to old school whoop ass music.

The members of ZED HEAD are all veterans of the classic rock genre but importantly, ZED HEAD provides something unique, ZED HEAD delivers NEW Classic Rock! Each member was there back in the day. Now they are producing fresh, southern style, classic, boogie tunage!

Lineup: On bass and lead vocals is founder of ZED HEAD, John "the fogman" Burkitt. Neil "the BIG E" Chapman is stellar on guitar. So too is Trevor "Luv" Horsfall. The latter having worked with ancillary Rolling Stones while Neil has worked with Leonard Cohen, Carole Pope, Allanah Myles and many others. Bruce Morrison on the skins is another seasoned player who has toiled with a myriad of well known talent. And Smilin' Bob Adams does great justice to the Mississippi saxophone, or Blues Rock Harp.

Listen to their recorded tunes or catch their brilliant live sets, any fan of classic rock will be sold on ZED HEAD. Fans of ZED HEAD can also hear their original offerings on the History or National Geographic channels during episodes of "Outlaw Bikers."
