Album Notes
An unusual band, an unusual name, an unusual album title, and even an unusual sound and style from this Art-Ska act fronted by artists The Gleavey Twins.

Hailing from Runcorn / Widnes in the NW of England (halfway between Manchester and Liverpool) the band's unique mix of Trad Ska and Two-Tone via Punk with hints of The Fall, The Cardiacs, Devo and The B52s thrown in for good measure may give you some idea...."Working Class-ic Ska", and "The Fall goes Ska" cited reviews and they're not wrong!

UK Northern accents and UK Northern attitude give this band an entirely original and unique Ska sound and explains why the have already had 2 UK TV documentaries made about the band fronted by The Gleavey Twins

Songs like the albums title track, "I Am The Champion Concrete Mixer", "The Year Of The Dog (That Bit Me)" and "100 Years Of Seaside Entertainment" and the bands live anthem "Brown Cows Of Elocution" set the scene for this danceable modern Ska with a Working class / Blue Collar political edge.
