Everybody can make a single wine glass sound, this is taken to the top art here, you will hear amazing music from Bach to Led Zeppelin played on a set of wine glasses, I am trying to find the frontiers of this instrument.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
I am one of about six Glass Harp Players in the world.

Glass Harp appeared around 1730 in South Germany. By the middle of the century it was fashionable throughout Europe and was used in contemporary music. Even Mozart wrote pieces for the Glass Harp. I built the instrument by myself, in Australia by that time, knowing nothing about the history, nor the technique of playing it. A former piano player I played the piano technique at my new instrument and developed my Glass Harp playing style.
This is the only one electrophonical Glass Harp in the world.

I listened to Alex Zoltan's music in direct in Prague last Saturday and I was really impressed. I neither know the coups used as instruments nor that Mozart already had composed music for it. I am just learning to be a music therapist and I will share it with my colleagues.
